When you're in Astoria and want something yummy to eat, there's only one place that pops into your mind for an out of this world hero: Sal, Kris, and Charlie's

This Astoria deli was just named one of the nation's "Top 100 Places to Eat in the U.S. for 2016," according to Yelp.

This is the third year in a row that Sal, Kris, and Charlie's made Yelp's list. This year, it was ranked 64th, where as last year it was 65th, falling from 28th in 2014.

Sal, Kris, and Charlie's is a neighborhood staple, known for it's massive heroes packed sky-high with meats and delicious accompaniments.

They're even the self-proclaimed, "Sandwich King of Astoria," according to DNAinfo

However, there is only one sandwich that truly catapults Sal, Kris, and Charlie's to rockstar status: "The Bomb."

It's a foot-long hero with salami, pepperoni, roast beef, ham, turkey, pastrami, mortadella, chicken, American cheese, and provolone cheese... essentially, a massive sandwich for only $9.50.

Sal, Kris, and Charlie's isn't the only New York City eatery that made Yelp's list. It is joined by The Halal Guys, Gramercy Tavern, Los Tacos No. 1, and Daniel
