Sway Through the Season November Concert Guide 🦃🎶🎵

Our favorite bands have hit the road and gone on tour. 

Here are our favorite shows from the start of the month, and where you’ll catch us getting down in between holiday shopping and eating that plateful of food this Thanksgiving. 



Concerts we loved

Braxton Cook (Supporting Tom Misch) l November 1st (Terminal 5, Manhattan @ 7 PM)

A saxophonist, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist, Braxton Cook knows how to entertain.

This was the first concert of his first headlining international tour, and he performed magnificently.


Guggenz l November 3rd (Elsewhere, Brooklyn @ 6 PM)

With a future funk sound and nice set, Guggenz is sure to bring the beats.

The Minneapolis native blows his audiences away with his sick new tunes that will be released this month, and he is very excited to be coming to NYC to perform.


Sierra Boggess l November 4th and 6th (54 Below, Manhattan @ 7 PM)

For those Broadway Babies out there,  Sierra Boggess has an amazing voice. 

For two nights, she will be performed songs from her hit musicals such as The Phantom of The Opera, The Little Mermaid, and dazzled the stage. 


Caged Animals l November 9th (Alphaville, Brooklyn @ 8 PM)

Famed for their 2011 “Teflon Heart” Brooklyn’s very own indie-pop quartet shared the stage with other amazing performers for a night to blow the roof right off the house.

Kaeji l November 9th (Knockdown Center Queens @ 7 PM)

The New York-based electronic musician and visual artist makes a stop in NYC for a performance that is sure to get the vibes flowing right through your own skin.

Kaeji’s sweet voice that mellowed over her production supported by pleasing visuals and great lighting.

A fun vibe,  thriving with an artist that definitely entertains.


Pink Mammoth l November 10th (House of Yes, Brooklyn @ 10 PM)

Pink Mammoth got us into the groove for a night that is all about feeling good!

Pink Mammoth is very passionate about synergy and helping people reach their fullest potential through music. If you didn’t catch the show give them a play, and relax your mind from everyday worries.


Mardoll l November 13th (Pianos Manhattan @ 7 PM)

Having a rough week already and needed to go out on a Tuesday night? The infectious beats of Mardol filled Pianos!

With her captivating, high-energy live performances that highlights her talents as a dancer and her sound which includes pop, hip-hop, and rap, Mardoll knows how to win over her audience.


Where you’ll catch us

Stooki Sound l November 16th (The Knitting Factory, Brooklyn @ 11:30 PM)

Every night in The Knitting Factory is an iconic one, but adding Stooki Sound in it will make it legendary. They will keep you on your feet all night dancing to electronica and raging to their head-banging performance.


Jessie’s Girl l November 17th (Le Poisson Rouge, Manhattan @ 11:45 PM)

Ever catch yourself thinking about what it would be like to live in the 80s party scene? 

Don’t imagine anymore,  go see the world’s most epic 80s band, Jessie’s Girl! 

Singing and performing all of the old school hits you know, this band will never disappoint. Girls who wanna have fun and raining men are all welcome.


Veronica Swift and Emmet Cohen l November 22nd (Birdland, Manhattan @ 8:30 PM)

Have Thanksgiving dinner and a show at Birdland to listen to two of this generation’s pivotal figures in music and art.

Emmet Cohen, a jazz pianist, and Veronica Swift, jazz singer and swing vocalist, pair up to provide a great Thanksgiving night for all who come out.


Angel Vivaldi and Nita Strauss l November 23rd (Brooklyn Bazaar Brooklyn @ 6 PM)

Rock out to the guitar-heavy duo and enjoy the wild ride of a night!

These two very talented guitarists will give their all to help you jump and burn off all that food you ate the night before.


Freddie Gibbs l November 26th (Highline Ballroom, Manhattan @ 9 PM)

The all American rapper makes a stop on his Freddie Tour in NYC and it is exactly what we’ve been waiting for.

Starting his own label, ESGN Records, Freddie Gibbs works hard and loves what he does and will not fail at performing to his absolute best.


Tall Heights l November 30th (Music Hall of Williamsburg, Brooklyn @ 8 PM)

From playing on the streets of Boston to performing in venues across the globe, Tall Heights captivate people with their harmonious voices accompanied with an array of instruments building an electro folk-inspired sound.

This is definitely a duo that has a bright future, so come out to the show.
