8 Places That Will Make You Wanna Spill All the Tequila 🙌🍹🥃

With things being as they are, it’s often hard to remember why we even like living in this country in the first place.

Then, July 24th rolls around, National Tequila day.

Let me say it again for the people in the back: National 👏 Tequila 👏 Day👏.

Oh yes, it’s time. Time to scoot out of work a little early, time to eat a nice full lunch, and time to put your phone on airplane mode to avoid drunk texting someone you’ll regret.

Here are eight places that will make you wanna spill all the Tequila.

Agave Greenwich (140 7th Ave S, Manhattan)

Agave Margarita Tradicional

Agave is a Tequila bar, and Mexican food restaurant know for its traditional food flavorings paired with drinks to spice up your palate. The Agave Margarita Tradicional features blood orange, prickly pear, strawberry, mango pomegranate.

When I see orange anything, my brain, of course, thinks breakfast drink. Since you’re working all day and probably skipped breakfast anyways, this would be a great drink to start your tequila tumble off right.

Grab a good meal, great drink, and a reservation.

Añejo Hell’s Kitchen (301 Church St, Manhattan)

The Mole Noche

If you want good tequila and live in the city, you hit up a great Mexican restaurant.

Añejo is the place to be.

Mexican cuisine plus custom cocktails is an equation I can wrap my head around. Spoiled’s resident tequila enthusiast, me, recommends you try The Mole Noche.

He may not be able to pronounce the name of the delectable beverage, but he can tell you that it consists of; Tanteo Cocoa Tequila, Bourbon, Averna, Arbol chile, and mole bitters.

DaDong (3 Bryant Park, Manhattan)

Ad Astra

DaDong’s cocktail, Ad Astra, is rooted in the Latin Phrase meaning, “through struggle to the stars.”

While it may look very petite and harmless, do not be fooled.

In addition to Tequila, this drink is crafted from Cointreau, Chambord, lime juice, and agave syrup. After a few of these, you’ll be struggling through the stars trying to remember how to get home.

Rahi (60 Greenwich Ave, Manhattan)

Gaal Gulabi

Forever the student, I pride myself on learning at least one new thing every day. For instance; did you know that Gaal Gulabi means “pink cheeks” in Hindi? Well if you did you can call your parents and thank them for buying you that encyclopedia set for Christmas (other Millenials, please see parents for this joke).

In any case, man cannot live on marg alone. Rahi’s Gaal Gulabi is a sweet treat that tastes as good as it looks while slipping you the tequila our hearts have come to love and our livers have come to despise.

Rocco’s Taco’s and Tequila Bar (339 Adams St)

Strawberry Basil Margarita

roccostacos

Legend has it: that a Spoiled employee bought a shirt that says “Tacos & Tequila” for the sole purpose of breaking it out on this holiest of holidays.

It’s me. I’m the one with the shirt. But can you blame me? What’s better than a strawberry margarita and a taco? Not much.

Pinch Chinese (177 Prince St, Manhattan)

Poolside Cooler

No one should be blue on National Tequila Day.

The only thing that should be blue is your drink. Pinch’s Poolside Cooler serves tequila punch; of traditional Chinese flavors, that is.

The roster includes tequila, lemon, blue curaçao, aloe, and of course, a little umbrella. It’s hard to be blue when you are sipping tequila out a fun glass with, what I can only presume to be, a curly straw.

James (605 Carlton Ave, Brooklyn)

Lone Dove

“Bond, Naismith, or Dean”

“What are Famous James’ ”

“Correct, Daniel you know have control of the board.”

“I’ll stay in the same category.”

“Alright for 500 points: The Lone Dove crafted with Jalapeño Tequila, Pamplemousse Liqueur, Grapefruit Juice, and Lime.”

“What is: a delicious custom cocktail served at the restaurant James in Brooklyn.”

“Correct once again!”

Brown Bag It from your Local Liquor store

This holiday was founded on strong drinks and exercising not only your liver but your connection to your fellow person. If you aren’t in the mood for a bar crawl, call up some friends, Postmates’ yourself a bottle of tequila and have a game night.

No one said that you had to celebrate the holiday outside (I checked). So use this loophole to gather together your favorite group of degenerates and have a party.

As long you are drinking Tequila you are doing the holiday proud and me proud.
